An 80-Year-Old Belgian Family Recipe
Bruges Belgian Bistro began in 2003 when my father Pierre Van Damme started making family-recipe dipping waffles in our home kitchen. From a food cart on Salt Lake City’s Main Street to the Downtown Farmers Market, we grew into two restaurants and a franchise at the SLC airport. Today, our family continues the tradition, crafting and shipping our Belgian waffles across the country.

Our waffles are fully cooked and ready to enjoy. You can eat them straight out of the box, chill them for a firmer bite, or warm them for a soft, bakery-fresh experience. (Hint: try them all to find your favorite!)

No, you don’t have to—but they’re delicious heated up! We recommend 10 seconds in the microwave for the dipped waffles and toasting the torpedo waffles.

Our waffles are made from a brioche-style dough and caramelized with authentic Belgian pearl sugar. We then finish them with imported Belgian chocolate. Every step of the process is done by hand using our 80-year-old family recipe.
